Meet the Dental Team

Dr. Justene Doan teamed up with her husband, Dr. Roger Tran, to open A+ Family Dentistry in 2002. She enjoys dentistry because it allows her to pursue her three loves: science, art and helping people. Dr. Justene is a highly trained general dentist and mainly focuses on dental implants and restorative cases. Dr. Justene places a high value on communication in her dental care. She strives to get to know each one of her patients. She is a careful listener and takes the time to explain procedures very thoroughly.

Dr. Roger Tran practices general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Like his wife, Dr. Justene, he is highly educated and experienced in implant dentistry and orthodontics. Dr. Tran’s lifelong passion for helping others led him into dentistry. His goal is to help patients keep their teeth for a lifetime. Dr. Tran is a good listener and takes the time to explain treatment plans to patients. Many patients who are prone to anxiety come to Dr. Tran for his gentle touch and ability to put patients at ease.

Dr. Janice Doan practices general and cosmetic dentistry. Her goal is to give her patients a healthy smile that will last a lifetime. Dr. Janice is the sister of Dr. Justene Doan. Dr. Janice treats her patients as if they were her own family members. Using excellent communication skills, she explains dental procedures in a simple way so patients are fully informed about procedures and the results they should expect.

Dr. Sigafoos has been serving San Diego County for over 20 years as a periodontist, a dental expert who specializes in treating diseases of the gum and other supporting and surrounding tissues of the teeth. To be certified in periodontics (from the Greek peri, meaning “around,” and odonts, meaning “tooth”), a dentist must complete at least three years of additional training after graduating from dental school. Dr. Sigafoos handles our office’s advanced periodontal disease treatment. He is a self-described perfectionist. “I strive to get the highest level of control over gum disease as possible,” he says.

Dr. Cedillo is a passionate dentist graduated in 2015 from La Salle University in Mexico. He’s been happily practicing since 2016 in San Diego. He loves treating, helping, educating patients so they can get the best oral health possible and reducing their dental anxiety by doing painless dentistry and creating a relaxed environment. Dr. Victor is a huge dental nerd, he has published articles and has been an international speaker since 2015. Dr. Cedillo is bilingual, from Mexico and also comes from a family of dentists, he shares the passion with his dad and brother! He loves dogs and in his free time he plays racquetball, golf, running, loves to cook and specially eat.

Dr. Kamada graduated with honors from University of the Pacific in 2021 to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduating dental school, he would go on to further his studies in a postgraduate AEGD program in Rancho Mirage, CA. Dr. Kamada has extensive training in oral surgery, aesthetic restorative dentistry, pediatric care, and removable prosthodontics. His favorite thing about dentistry is seeing his patients transform their smile and dental health. He was born and raised in Central California and moved to the beautiful city of San Diego in 2022. Dr. Kamada enjoys spending time with his wife and pet hamster. Other hobbies of his includes skiing, golfing, and recently pickleball.
